This is your chance to work with young operators from around the world, gain contesting experience, and support the next generation of amateur radio enthusiasts.

  • QSOs with operators under 26 are worth extra points

  • Ages act as multipliers — every contact counts!

YOTA Dinner at HAM RADIO Friedrichshafen 2026

As every year, we are happy to invite all young radio amateurs and YOTA friends to the traditional YOTA Dinner during HAM RADIO Friedrichshafen!

? Location: Restaurant Lammgarten, by Lake Constance (Bodensee)
? Date: Friday, 26 June 2026
? Time: 19:30 (7:30 PM)

Transport

Lammgarten is approximately a 1-hour walk from the exhibition grounds. If you don’t have private transport, you can get there easily by public bus:

Come join us for a relaxed evening to meet other young hams, catch up with old friends, and enjoy the spirit of YOTA by the beautiful lakeside!

⚠️ Registrations are now closed, all spots have been taken.

Note for waitlisted attendees: If your name is highlighted in orange, you are on the waiting list. You are welcome to come to the venue and join us if a spot becomes available, but we cannot guarantee you will have a place to eat.

We’re only taking care of the reservation, everyone will have to pay for their own meal.

YOTA Contest 2026 | 1st Round

Ready to fill the bands with young energy?

The first round of YOTA Contest 2026 kicks off on:

? 15 March 2026
? 10:00–22:00 UTC

Not just another date on the contest calendar, this one is about youth taking the lead. A chance for young HAMS to get on the air, gain confidence, try contesting, and connect with operators all over the world.

? How it works

Work as many stations as possible.

The exchange is simple: your age.

If you’re under 26, your QSO is worth more points!

Ages count as multipliers, so every contact really matters.

Whether you’re 15, 25, or 75 — get on the air and call CQ YOTA!

Bring your friends to the shack. Join as a team. Try a new band. Make your first contest QSO. This is the perfect moment to jump in.
